Current Activities and Research Interests

I obtained my medical degrees at the University of Liege, Belgium, and I pursue my clinical residency in psychiatry at the Geneva University Hospital.

I am currently a research fellow at the Cyclotron Research Centre (University of Liege, supervisor Pierre Maquet) and at the Laboratory for Neurology and Imaging of Cognition (University of Geneva, supervisor Sophie Schwartz). I study the mechanisms of visual attention in healthy subjects and in patients with various psychiatric disorders using neuroimaging techniques, including fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging). My interests also include sleep physiology (using PET - position emission tomography and fMRI), sleep medicine and pathophysiology of sleep disorders.
