Current Activities and Research Interests I am working as a postdoc in the LabNIC since November 2007. I am using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) to examine the cerebral processing of emotional information expressed by speech melody (prosody) and integration of affective information expressed via different sensory modalities (facial expression, speech melody, gestures). Furthermore, I am interested in how processing of emotional information interacts with other socially relevant signals, such as gaze direction.
